According to the famous words of Romans 4:17, God "gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not." Simply stated, he is the God of resurrection and creation. He raised the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead and brought into existence this vast universe in which we live.  What awesome power!  Romans 4:17 should encourage us tremendously on a personal level.  If God raised Jesus from the dead, then he can breathe new life into our hopes, dreams, relationships, ministries, or whatever else that may have died in our lives -- and even if the solution that we need does not exist in the natural -- God can bring into existence the right answer.  He is the God both of resurrection and creation for whom nothing is impossible!  Do you need a miracle in your life today?  I encourage you to believe God to meet you at your point of need.  God will either give you what you ask or he will give you something better.  He knows what is best for you and will grant the thing that will bring him the greatest glory and you the maximum benefit.  Trust in him today!
