COVID-19: A PRAYER OF PEACE, HEALING, AND PROTECTION

With news of the Coronavirus, Malaika and I would like to speak a prayer of peace, healing, and protection over you today.

"Heavenly Father, you are worthy of all glory, honor, and praise.  Thank you for the gift of salvation that was made possible through our Lord's death and Resurrection.  Thank you also for the Holy Spirit who applies to our lives the wonderful benefits that Christ makes available to us.  We ask you now in the name of Jesus to give us the wisdom and insight to know your will.  Please bless us with supernatural joy and the peace that surpasses all understanding.  Finally, we ask for healing grace and divine protection against sickness, disease, darkness, and calamity.  You are the source of fulfillment for every need that we have, so we acknowledge our complete and utter dependence upon you.  Thank you for hearing our petition.  In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray.  Amen.

Positive Confession of Truth
To reinforce proper thinking, especially during times of crisis, we can daily declare to ourselves the things that we know to be true from the Word of God.  Below are a few examples.

1. God loves me.  He is intimately involved in my life.
2. God is good.  He is the source of all that makes life possible and meaningful.
3. God accepts me because of the loving sacrifice of his Son, Jesus Christ.
4. God is gracious, compassionate, and merciful.
5. God is always with me.  He will never leave nor forsake me.
6. God is committed to my well being.
7. God is greater than the coronavirus and any other sickness or disease.  By the stripes of Jesus Christ, healing has come to me!

We pray that you continue to walk in the victory that the Lord has secured for you against every assault of the enemy.  So be encouraged!  God is in control of this world, and he is full of mercy and compassion.  Trust him today!
