A small donation to the ministry will help us to spread the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ.
The first three chapters of Paul's Letter to the Ephesians have a great deal to teach us about who we are in Christ and what we have in Christ. The foundation of our identity as believers is our position in Christ. To fully embrace our true identity in Christ, we must first trust what Jesus did for us in his death and Resurrection. Second, we must believe and accept what God says we are rather than who others say that we are. The following list (written in the first person and based on Ephesians 2) is your true identity in Christ. I invite you to repeat these truths out loud on a regular basis.
Ephesians 2:5-6 | I have been raised to new life in Christ and seated with him in heavenly places |
Ephesians 2:8-9 | I have been saved by grace through faith in Christ. |
Ephesians 2:10 | I am God's workmanship - a masterpiece and a new creation - in Christ. |
Ephesians 2:13 | I have been brought near to God by the blood of Christ. |
Ephesians 2:16 | I am reconciled to God through the cross of Jesus Christ. |
Ephesians 2:18 | I have access to God by the Holy Spirit. |
Ephesians 2:19 | I am a part of God's family. |
