Satan thought that he had won.
He beat and bruised God’s precious Son.
But Jesus rose on the third day,
And for the world, He made a way.
Christ conquered sin and death for us.
He nailed our sins onto the cross,
And by His stripes, we are now healed.
The truth to us has been revealed.
We are new creatures, yes indeed.
The work of Christ meets every need,
For wholeness, life, and joy, and peace;
Redeemed by Christ, a sweet release!
God’s love is plain for all to see.
His mercy, grace, and gifts are free.
The Holy Spirit fills our cup.
All praise to God! So lift Him up!
In His strength, we overcome!
Rejoice; be glad; the war is won!
Access to God! The veil He tore!
Eternal life forevermore!
