Devotional Thought
God is good, and nothing can separate us from his love. God reveals his trustworthiness throughout the Bible and in our individual lives as we seek him. As we study God’s Word and walk with God on a daily basis, we gain intimate knowledge of who he is, and our trust in him grows. Because God continues to demonstrate that he is trustworthy, we can face the challenges of each new day with the full assurance of his presence, power, and provision.

Practical Moment
What can we learn about trusting God from each of the following biblical characters?

• Abraham and Sarah
• Hannah
• Daniel
• The three Hebrew boys (Shadrach, Meshach, Abed-Nego)

Can you think of other men and women in the Bible who trusted the Lord? How do their stories encourage you? What have you learned about trust from your own walk with the Lord? Discuss your thoughts with your friends or family members.
