Sharing Your Faith with Your Children (Part 9 of 11)
God created us to love and be loved by Him, and also to love one another. That means you can easily say that one of the focal points of our lives as children of God is to be in relationship with one another! God takes relationships seriously, so we should too! Healthy relationships are characterized by love, and also things like honesty, forgiveness, respect, and good communication.
If we want our children to relate to us and thrive in life in every way, we must pass on the value of relationships to them. The better relationships they have with everyone, the better relationship we can expect to have with them! If they value relationships in general, they will greatly value their relationship with you, helping to open the door to a deeper connection between you. It is this connection that sets the stage for you to pass on your faith to them.
