QUESTION: Does every Christian have the Holy Spirit?
ANSWER: Absolutely. Upon accepting Jesus Christ as Savior, every Christian receives the Holy Spirit, as affirmed in Romans 8:9. While his presence is universal among believers, the depth of our experience with him may vary. This is why it is important to continually seek his presence and guidance. Ephesians 5:18 speaks of being filled with the Spirit, emphasizing the ongoing nature of our relationship with him. Through prayer, worship, studying God's Word, and fellowship with fellow believers, we invite his transformative work into our lives.
