About Dr. Wilfred Graves Jr.
Dr. Wilfred Graves Jr. has been actively involved in ministry at West Angeles Church of God in Christ since 2003, working closely with Bishop Charles Blake Sr. and Pastor Charles Blake II. His background in mathematics, engineering, and theology allows him to combine problem-solving skills, organizational expertise, and spiritual insight. He has provided executive oversight to several departments, managed millions of dollars in resources, and led annual revivals at Union Rescue and Fred Jordan Missions. Dr. Graves has mentored many pastors, bishops, and church leaders, and he has helped church members grow in their theological understanding and recognize their spiritual gifts.

Vision for New Greater Hope
Dr. Graves’ ministry focuses on three core areas: evangelism, discipleship, and service. He envisions a church that reaches the lost, builds up believers, and empowers members to serve both the church and the community. He emphasizes collaborative leadership and is committed to helping others discover and use their gifts for the Kingdom.

Youth Development and Leadership Training
Dr. Graves places a strong emphasis on youth leadership and education. At West Angeles, he secured a $1 million grant to develop leadership programs for young people. He plans to bring this same focus to New Greater Hope, working with the church to prepare the next generation for leadership and service.

Dr. Graves is dedicated to responsible financial management and transparency. He will work with church leadership to ensure that resources are used effectively and directed toward impactful ministry and community projects.
