Communication with God is an important aspect of the Christian life. I invite you to join me in the following prayer and to share these words with your friends and loved ones.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father,

You are the source of life, blessing, and favor. Every good and every perfect gift comes from you. Thank you for the gifts of salvation and eternal life, which are available through Jesus Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit, who makes your people more like the Savior with each passing day. It is in the name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit that we approach you today with boldness, confidence, and humility.

Dear God you are aware of every need and desire that we have—spoken and unspoken. You are greater than every physical, emotional, financial, situational, or other challenge that we face. You are the God who supplies all our needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. You are the God who is with us, who is all-powerful, and who is more than enough. Your Word promises us that nothing can separate us from your love and that we have access to your presence, your peace, your power, and your provision.

We ask you now to honor your holy Word. We ask you now to frustrate the plans of the evil one. We ask you now to pour out blessings into our lives and the lives of our family members, friends, and loved ones. Stretch forth your hand to save, to heal, to restore, and to empower. We come into agreement with you. Your will be done in our lives. We command everything that opposes your will to be removed and cast into the sea. We submit to you, O God, and we command every dark force to leave our presence right now!

Father, we affirm your goodness! We affirm your love and power! We declare your greatness and rejoice that greater is he who is in us than he who is in the world. We ask you to send your anointing to destroy every yoke of bondage. We ask you to resolve every problem that we are confronting at this moment. The Book of James tells us that if we lack wisdom, we can ask of you, Dear God, and you will give it to us liberally and without reproach. Give us the wisdom and insight that we need to walk in complete victory. Give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you and enable us to keep in step with your divine plan for our lives.

Finally, Dear God, we give you glory, honor, and praise. Let us see a manifestation of your goodness today and a speedy revelation of your answer to our prayers. We put our complete dependence and trust in you. Amen.
