Prayer Focus
Pray that God will give you greater knowledge of his authority and power.
Devotional Thought
We all should desire to have greater knowledge of God (who he is and what he has done). Knowledge of God requires us to study and meditate on his Word, to obey his commands, to communicate with him in prayer, and to walk with him each day. God helps us to do these things by the power of the Holy Spirit. Please click on the link below to listen to a few audio reflections I made on today's theme.
Practical Moment
Here is a prayer based on today’s topic.
“Dear God, I appropriate the prayer by Paul for the Ephesian church. Please give me wisdom and revelation to know you better. Open the eyes of my heart so that I will know your hope, the riches of your glorious inheritance, and the experience of your incomparably great power. Lord Jesus, you have all authority. Help me to walk in the reality of your exalted place above all principalities and powers. Also, fill me with the Holy Spirit so that I can accomplish everything you want me to accomplish. Amen.”
