Defining Faith
Faith is not about reciting empty words, performing useless rituals, or convincing ourselves of something that isn't true. It is not a formula to conjure desired outcomes or a means of coercing God into compliance with our wishes. Instead, authentic Christian faith emerges from a deep-rooted trust and dependence on God, stemming from a rich and intimate relationship with Him.
As we delve into the essence of Biblical faith, we find that it inherently involves surrendering to God's will and aligning ourselves with His ways (1 John 5:14-15). Anything believed outside of His will cannot be considered genuine faith. This underscores the importance of discerning and submitting to God's divine purpose in our lives.
While it's true that prayer is subject to God's will, we mustn't interpret this limitation as God merely indulging us. On the contrary, Scripture assures us that prayer has the power to effect change in the world (James 5:16-18). We approach prayer with confidence, knowing that whatever is asked according to God's will will be granted.
Ultimately, our faith rests in the unwavering certainty that God, in His infinite wisdom, always acts for our highest good and His greatest glory. Let us, therefore, continue to cultivate our relationship with Him, trusting in His perfect plan and embracing His promises with unwavering faith.

Question #9 wow I never thought I’d admit it out loud, but I have been forced to face it dead on. My mother had dementia, she was angry and kept telling me she wanted to go home, I said mom tell the Lord let him know how you feel. Time went on and she got even more angry and unhappy. SO, I prayed Lord my mother is ready to go, would you make it happen then I thanked Him in advance for answering my prayer, but I only asked for one person not five. Dr. Graves never in a million years did I think my sister, niece and two brothers would also transition. God answered my prayer, but it was according to his will and definitely different from what I wanted. I have also prayed that he would turn back time. I said Lord no one would even know, not even me. Well, he hasn’t answered that prayer the way I wanted him too either.
